Under Collection of Statistics Act, 2008 and rules there under carry out Annual Coal & Lignite survey of India for publication of Provisional Coal Statistics and Coal Directory of India. Submit monthly coal/lignite data to different ministries of central and state Govt., national and international organization. Collect Statistics relating to coal washeries.
